Anna Seidel

Anna Seidel is a poet, business economist and curator whose work moves between literature, economics, and visual culture. Trained at St. Gallen, Harvard and Oxford, she began her career in international investment before turning toward a literary and artistic practice. Her poetry collection Desiderium appeared in 2022 and her writing has since been published in international literary journals including The Fiddlehead, Stand, and Mantis at Stanford.

Seidel is the co-founder of the Napkin Poetry Review, a platform that brings poetry beyond the page and into social spaces.In 2023, Seidel became the youngest recipient of the President Eisenhower Fellowship since its founding in 1953. Alongside the written word, Seidel works with film, installation, and performance. Her projects and readings have taken her to Venice,New York, Mexico City, and Jaipur; in 2025, she led the literary curation of Voice of Commons, a Special Project Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
